It was in my third year of high school in 1983 when I first heard the gospel shared at a bible study in the home of one my classmates. This is when I first recalled the Lord starting to work in my life. It was actually a song that the Lord use to touch my heart. Then before graduating from High School, I found myself leading my classmates in a gospel song not knowing that God was preparing me for my future calling as a worship pastor.
1984 was the year that I finally surrendered my life to Christ. It began with a simple desire to join a church choir at a local certain church. The choir director a very devout Christian would often invite us for bible study at a house in Lapu-Lapu Street, Olongapo City. This was the residence of the Viloria family which later became the first venue of what is now Church of the Risen Christ (CRC). It was at one of these bible studies that I gave my life to the Lord and became a born-again Christian.
Since then, my love for the Lord Jesus kept growing, leading me to forsake my personal dreams and ambitions to follow Him and His calling upon my life. Born on September 23, 1966 in Olongapo City Philippines, I entered full-time ministry in 1986, received training through the leadership of Bro. Phil and Sis. Connie Ensminger. Then ordained as a minister of the gospel in 1987.
It was then also that I met and served God with Elizabeth (Beth) Elicerio who happens to be the aunt of Pastor Jesse and Jimmy Viloria. She later became my wife in December 1989. God has blessed us with 3 children Jethro, Tiffany and Trisha who are now grown-ups and are all serving the Lord with us. Glory to God!
